Packaging: The shorts came in a plastic bag labeled with Loro Piana and included the signature Loro Piana hang tag.
Shorts: They’re made from a soft linen fabric that feels very comfortable and lightweight. The design includes two front pockets, two back pockets with button closures, and a thin lace drawstring at the waist. Stitching is clean, and the color looks great — very pleasant and refined. On the inside, there’s a brownish lining, which is a classic Loro Piana detail, along with a branded tag and a stitched Loro Piana patch.
One thing to note is that the linen is slightly see-through, especially if you’re wearing darker underlayers, but it’s nothing major. Overall, I’d rate the quality 9 out of 10 — very clean and well-made, but a bit on the pricier side, so it depends on your budget.
Fit: I’m 180 cm and went with size M. The shorts fit true to size, with a nice fit around the waist and legs. Personally, I prefer slightly shorter shorts, but rolling them up a bit easily solves that.
